Christina Bussler and Jessica Penny have joined forces to create ‘of Venus and Gaia’, a clothing brand for the fashion-conscious Midwesterner. The collection is inspired by 80‘s dance wear and includes warm jackets and hand-crocheted accessories, each constructed mainly of knit fabrics that provide comfort and escape from the traditional Paul Bunyan uniform of jeans and flannel. As a final touch, each outfit will be topped with a decadent leather handbag by Door County-based company Turtle Ridge.
